Examples of using SecretsSaver Corporate
Task 2.
Secret information is stored in a Database which can be accessed through the network. It is necessary to prevent any
attempt to save the information from the DB on usb-disks as well as transfer the data from the DB to the Internet.
How to solve Task 2.
It is necessary to set the Information Security Level as secret for the DB server.
You should set the following Access Levels for the employee:
Information Access Level - secret;
Network Access Level - public;
Removable Media Access Level - public.
How Task 2 solution works.
While the employee works with public information the Information Protection Security System isn't active. The employee can
use the network, diskettes and usb-disks without any limitations.
But when the employee connects to the DB server the Current Security Level is changed to secret.
After that, the access to public networks and removable media will be blocked for this employee according to the employee's
Access Level.
