Examples of using SecretsSaver Corporate
Task 1.
Secret information is stored on the employee's computer. It is necessary to prevent their copying to a usb-disk, a floppy
disk or their transferring to the Internet. But when using the public information the employee must have an opportunity to
work with a usb-disk, a floppy disk or the Internet.
How to solve Task 1.
You should set the following Access Levels for the employee:
Information Access Level - secret;
Network Access Level - public;
Removable Media Access Level - public
You should set the Security Level of the documents containing secret data to secret.
How Task 1 solution works.
While the employee works with public information the Information Protection Security System isn't active. The employee can
use the network, diskettes and usb-disks without any limitations.
But when the employee opens the document having the Security Level set to secret, the Current Security Level is changed to
secret.
After that, the access to public networks and removable media will be blocked for this employee according to the employee's
Access Level.
